...my daughter and I. I designed the minivan. She thought up the roof rack and Christmas tree to put on top. There wasn’t time to build a garage for it this year.
Special thanks to the staff at the Baylor University Medical Center for putting on this annual gingerbread house event for the kids and making creations like this possible.

I have been banned from doing gingerbread houses. They always end up a giant mess. That said great job!

Thanks! They provided us with top-shelf snacking building materials. The key to fixing your messes is that demolition involves eating the mistakes. So nothing wrong with building something that needs to be condemned!

Hmmm, yeah...any kind of party that needs drop clothes on both floor and ceiling I could see getting banned. :D

I’m banned for the opposite; shoddy construction, followed by the eating of the remaining building materials..

Thanks! Yeah, it’s fantastic, and they put the houses in the hospital entrance to make a gingerbread village. Santa showed up, too. But only half the kids even seemed to notice, they were working so hard on the houses!

That is really great!

Dude, they’re like Sweet Tart Lego blocks! You can’t decide whether to eat them or build with them, they taste so good. Yes, you must get some.

That means you’re doing it right.

Are those legos? I thought everything on a gingerbread house had to be edible?

They’re candy. They taste like Sweet Tarts, but you can build with them like Lego. Brickman (appropriate handle) gave a link to them above.
